Efficient methods of energy production development

One of the main objectives of the Conference Renewable Energy Sources in Horticulture is to present new, sustainable and effective methods of energy production that can be used in fruit and vegetable growing. It is intended to provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge and discussion between scientists, engineers, fruit and vegetable growers.

The conference will present how modern technologies, such as solar panels, windmills or biogas, can be integrated with traditional farming methods. Educational sessions will help participants learn how to apply these innovative solutions to their daily gardening practice.

An extremely important element of this thematic block will be the discussion about the combination of renewable energy sources with energy storage as well as the development of electromobility. Knowledge of the aequate storage can significantly increase the efficiency of renewable energy sources, enabling their wider use. The integration of renewable energy sources, storage systems and electromobility also opens up new business opportunities and accelerates the energy transition. Examples of this include developed charging systems for electric vehicles that can be powered by energy from renewable sources and experimental projects that are investigating the possibility of using electric cars as "storage" for home energy systems. The combination of knowledge and innovation in these three areas – renewable energy sources, energy storage and electromobility – is not only desirable, but even necessary for sustainable development. Such an integrated perspective can lead to more efficient, sustainable and flexible energy systems that will better meet the challenges of climate change and growing global energy demand.
