Innovations and trends in strawberry cultivation

Growing strawberries in the ground and under cover will be the main topics of Strawberry Conference this year. It will be shown trends in such production and solutions that allow you to make money on it. Information on strawberries growing in beds will be discussed. The presentation, will sum up the conclusions of the Strawberry Inspirations Project, regarding the varieties tested and its cultivation technology, taking into account the types of seedlings. Mariusz Podymniak, from the "Jagodnik" magazine, will present this topic. It will be followed by issues related to planning and proper fertilization of strawberries grown in beds. Magdalena Cieślak-Włodarczyk from Yara Poland, who also produces strawberries on her farm, believes that both new varieties and its cultivation technologies not only in tunnels, but also in ground, make it necessary to diversify fertilization programs.
